New Mirage Omnican In-Ceiling Speakers

Omnipolar aficionado Mirage speakers has released three new “Omnican” in-ceiling speaker models, the OC-45 ($175), OC-55 ($250), and OC-65 ($375), which replace the Omnican 5 and 6. The new models are said to incorporate over 30 years of research and development and produce the most spacious sound of any in-ceiling speaker on the market. The OC-45, OC-55, and OC-65 use 4.5”, 5.5”, and 6.5” versions of Mirage’s new Polypropylene Titanium Deposit Hybrid woofer with Ribbed Elliptical Surround technology for lower distortion and higher output capability.

All three models use Mirage’s signature 1” Pure Titanium Hybrid tweeter mounted in an adjustable Omniguide for 360 degree dispersion. The new Omnican models are voice matched to Mirage’s Nanosat, Omnisat V2, and OMD series, and feature weather resistant enclosures and low profile paintable grille. They will begin shipping in May.
