Phiaton Introduces Style to Headphones

Phiaton is a new player in the headphone market that’s banking on style to sell its products. The company is actually an offshoot of Cresyn that’s hitting the market with two lines of headphones and an iPod mini system. The lines include a set of in-ear phones, two pairs of around-ear headphones, two pairs of on-ear headphones and a dumbbell shaped iPod mini system. However, what sets these products apart from their Cresyn counterparts is style.

One line features phones covered in faux black snake skin, while the other features a black and red color scheme highlighted by faux carbon fiber. Unfortunately, the tech specs on these products are scarce; so I guess we’re supposed to think they sound as good as they look. Honestly, to me they look a bit fugly; but it’s nice to see someone trying to add a little style to the stale headphone market.
