Jamo’s new DMR 70 DVD receiver packs several components worth of features into a sleek high-gloss black box less than 2.2” high. Class D amplification makes 65 watts X 5 possible in such a small enclosure. The DMR 70 includes Dolby Pro-Logic II, Dolby Digital, and DTS surround processing, as well as 720p/1080i video upscaling with support for a wide range of video encoding formats, including DivX Ultra, Xvid, WMA, SVCD, MP3, and JPEG.

Portable audio devices can be connected to the front panel USB port or aux input jacks, and HDMI, component video, and RGB Scart outputs are provided for connection to a display. The DMR 70 includes the 200 watt 8” SUB 200 subwoofer (pictured above), which Jamo recommends pairing with their A 400 or A 10 series speakers for a full surround system. The DMR 70/SUB 200 package is priced at $349.
