AV123 MFW-15 Subwoofer

The AV123 website just got a new face lift, and with that face lift came a new product we first saw at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest. The new MFW-15 Subwoofer is a 350 watt powered 15" sub in a slot ported enclosure with an in-room frequency response down to 15Hz for those of you hardcore home theater guys. Price starts at $599.


The enclosure is heavily braced and comes in a satin black finish or real wood veneers for $100 extra.

In addition to their new website, AV123 is working on a system they are calling Audition Avenue. The system will allow prospective buyers to be matched up with other people in their area who already own the equipment they are considering purchasing. The two people can set up an appointment for a demo, and the current owner is encouraged not to "sell" to the potential buyer but allow them to make their own decision.

This is a very cool concept and when it goes live I'll be hitting up some local owners of the AV123 Line Source speakers for a demo. Of course AV123 also offers their 30-day trial period where if the consumer isn't happy they can return the product at the cost of shipping alone.
