Davone Rithm Loudspeaker, Beam Me Up Scotty

The Davone Rithm is a Danish made loudspeaker that’s designed not only to sound good, but look good too. The Rithm is composed of a coaxial 8” woofer and 1” tweeter mounted in a horseshoe shaped cabinet. The oddly shaped enclosure produces less vibration and resonance than typical rectangular speaker cabinets while also making an artistic statement. Although to my eyes, the cabinet looks extremely reminiscent of a Star Trek communicator.

The Rithm’s driver and enclosure combination allows the Rithm to achieve a frequency response of 45-20,000 Hz at 8 ohms with a sensitivity of 85dB. The Rithm is also available in both oak and walnut finishes while the end panels are finished in matte black.

That's pretty damn close.

That certainly is impressive looking, but 45Hz from an 8" woofer in something that big? Not exactly what I would call a miracle of modern science. 45Hz is the cut-off point for a typical mini-monitor.
