The World's Greatest Music Collection For Sale on eBay

"The World's Greatest Music Collection" has popped up on eBay with an estimated value of more than $50 million.
The collection includes:
3 Million Records
300,000 Compact Discs
More Than 6 Million Song Titles
All this can be yours for only $3,000,000. Oh and by the way, you'll need a 16,000 square foot climate controlled storage facility to house the collection.
The owner of the collection, Paul Mawhinney, spent the last 60 years acquiring the pieces that make up the collection. He lists his reasons for selling as, "declining health and associated financial concerns." I can only imagine what the monthly costs associated with maintaining this collection are.

I feel bad for the guy, giving up his life's work.
But it's truly amazing.

This is amazing and sad.
I really hope that this collection goes to a good home and is enjoyed as much as it should be.

I wonder if "Mr. Audiophile" from China will buy. He seems to have the space and the cash necessary. Personally I'd rather just have a music server and a couple of TB of space.

Damn, I didn't even think of that. Imagine a fire breaking out and turning it into a giant mound of plastic.

Wow, somebody actually put up the $3 mil with 7hrs to go. I really thought nobody would go for it.

It is up to $3,300,000 with 45 min. to go and there are four bids.
They should just give up, my auction sniper bid will win it.
