The UK magazine What Hi-Fi? is reporting that Mordaunt-Short will be releasing a Limited Edition version of the Performance 6 loudspeakers at the Sound & Vision Show in Bristol (UK) this weekend.

Upgraded features in the limited edition P6's include: redesigned crossovers with ClarityCap capacitors, a new formulation of the original polymer resin used for the cabinets and some slight modifications to the interior of the cabinets.

Price for the Limited Edition Performance 6 Speakers will be just under $8,000 (£4,000).

Er, technically What Hi-Fi? isn't an e-zine. It's a big fat magazine that has a million reviews in each issue, including group tests of equipment stands.

I edited it to say magazine. I'll be honest, I haven't seen their print magazine before. Any idea where can you get it in the US?

Borders carries most of the British audio mags, including What Hi-Fi?, HiFi+, HiFi Choice, etc. Barnes & Noble does too I think. Every now and then I pick one up. Makes a great read on the road because the reviews are so short.

Reading and driving isn't safe Mr. Kay.

I meant while traveling, either on a plane or as a passenger. I'm quite content to just listen to music while driving.
