Advanced Room Correction (ARC) System for Recording Studios

IK Multimedia has released their new ARC (Advanced Room Correction) System for recording studios. The IK ARC System is the first acoustical room correction system in a plug-in for MAC/PC DAW based studios. The heart of IK's ARC is Audyssey's MultEQ, which has the ability to correct for both frequency and phase response throughout multiple points in the room. If you aren't familiar with MultEQ, it is the audio correction technology of choice for Denon's receivers and Alpine car audio.


The ARC System package includes a professionally calibrated measurement microphone, software and a multi-platform plug-in that can be integrated with any DAW-based studio. One of the most interesting aspects of the ARC System though is the ability to be used as a mobile correction solution for traveling engineers and musicians.
