Coconut Amplified Speaker- Pina Colada Not Included
Filed under: Home Audio > Amplifiers
I can think of a few things to do with coconut shells off of the top of my head, but using one for an amplifier case is not on that list. The amp pictured above is a fairly simple design using a LM386 chip and a brief writeup on it can be found here. I'm assuming a Dremel was used on the coconut shell to make openings for the speaker and other components. It's not the prettiest piece of audio equipment, but Jimmy Buffett would rock it.
