Future Retro Revolution Synthesizer R2

February 28, 2008 by David Kay

The latest hand built custom synthesizer from Future Retro is called the Revolution, which has a unique design that is meant to mimic the cyclical principles of time and music. The circular sequencer interface also provides functional benefits such as making it easier to divide a measure of music into equal parts and control the interface with one hand. The Revolution features an aluminum chassis with a gunmetal gray finish and white details, an analog monophonic synthesis engine, and remix and MIDI program control capabilities. The somewhat Star Wars-ish appearance of the Revolution also makes it perfect for producing a remix of MC Chris' "Fett's Vette". The Revolution is priced at $750.
