OTTO Surface Microphone

Have you ever wondered what your goldfish are saying about you behind your back? The OTTO surface microphone concept from designer Duncan Wilson would allow you to find out. The OTTO uses a polymer piezoelectric contact mic connected to a battery powered amplifier and speaker. A combination of suction cups and magnets connect the OTTO to just about any surface where it can amplify inaudible sounds to ambient levels, for hours of endless fun. No word yet on whether the OTTO will actually be produced.

I am really curious now on what sounds there actually would be. Would it be cool, or just annoying sound?
