Atlantic Technology IWTS-8e Subwoofer System

Atlantic Technology has released their new IWTS-8e In-wall Subwoofer System. The IWTS-8e is designed to be installed under the sheetrock, so it is ideal to install during a new build or renovations. The sub module houses two 8" long-throw woofers with 8 lb. motor assemblies and 2" vented multi-layer voice coils that are oversized for increased SPL levels down to 20Hz (+/-3 dB).


The system comes with a THX Ultra certified SA-380 class AB power amplifier rated at 380 watts. The SA-380 also includes a refined servo-control circuit that greatly reduces distortion at high output levels.

The IWTS-8e Subwoofer System is currently available for $2,200.

Holy crap, they want $2,200 for that?!?

only 2" voice coils, only 380 watts, only 2 8" subs, thats just sillyness. ok, ok it may have a servo, but still...

for that price do a couple Velodyne SC-IW subs.
