Ultimate Home Theater Can Be Yours For $7.9 Million
Filed under: Home Audio
Trying to replicate the movie theater experience at home is so 2007. Why waste your valuable time when you can buy a theater that is ready to go and can seat 1,200 of your closest friends? 2008 is the year of buying a theater rather than trying to turn your family room into one. With the economy taking a turn for the worst I assure you this will not be the last movie theater that goes up for sale either.
The Rococo Theater in Lincoln, Nebraska is currently listed for a mere $7.9 million. That is peanuts compared to the time that would be saved by not having to hookup your surround speakers and mount that projector into your ceiling. And without doing a serious amount of remodeling- I highly doubt any of us have a house that could fit a full band and over a thousand guests. Like I said, screw the home theater and enter THE theater. I'm calling in my lowball offer right now...
The Rococo Theatre was originally built in 1929 and underwent a multi-million dollar 2001 renovation. The theater now features "state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment" and can accommodate over 1,200 people in addition to having a full kitchen in the basement. You can also lease the theater for only $25,000 a month.
