Klipsch Now Being Sold at Crutchfield

I just got an email that Crutchfield has added Klipsch to their family of products. Congrats to them both as I'm sure the Klipsch line of products will do very well at Crutchfield. Martin Logan recently brought on Amazon as a retailer as well. The home audio companies are presumably looking to fill the gap that the under performing big box stores are leaving.

Expect to see many more home audio lines going to Crutchfield and Amazon in the near future, and we'll keep you posted as soon as we hear anything.

What is more amazing that Klipsch being sold their is that Thiel is sold their. I was a little speechless when I saw that.

personally i think that those two companies would go great together, crutchfield's high prices and klipsch's loudness.

On the big box topic i went to my local best buy the other day and they shrunk the home audio section to about half what it was, no real selection just a few bose (ick), klipsch, and infinity speakers.

I'm more intrigued with Amazon selling the ML Purity, and some other gear from their lower "Designer" line. Both ML and Klipsch have diverged the last few years to offer both mid-level and high-end gear, selling in BB/Magnolia type stores, in addition to the declining number of higher-end audio "emporiums". I embrace that as "smart" marketing to survive in a changing A/V market. Hopefully this will introduce a new generation of A/V consumers to QUALITY sound.
