Muxtape - Mixtapes For the Masses

Muxtape.com launched their online music service that allows users to upload 12 songs and create their own mixtape. Once the mixtape is created, the user gets a link that they can share with friends. They already had 19,731 songs uploaded in their first 24 hours online (March 25th).

It's a very cool site and definitely worth checking out.

It is loading really slow, but it is working for me. Not sure how legal it is though, and I imagine the RIAA will be showing up at the owner's house with a SWAT team before the weekend.

From the Terms Of Use...

"Muxtape is a service for creating mixtapes. Users may not upload multiple songs from the same album or artist, or songs they do not have permission to let Muxtape use."
