D+S Surround Sound Chair

If you love home theater but have no friends, the surround sound chair from D+S may be for you. The $3000 chair includes two main 5.25" coaxial speakers that are mounted on adjustable tubes allowing for control of the frontal soundstage, two 4" coaxial surround speakers mounted on a small shelf that extends above your head, and an internal 12" subwoofer that is ported directly into your ears, providing a full fledged home theater for one. The D+S surround chair is the perfect tool for those Battlestar Galactica marathons, and would also be a great way to play World of Warcraft. Frequency response is 30Hz - 20kHz, with 92dB/W/m sensitivity. The chair is available in a large variety of real wood finishes and weighs 180lbs, so you will unfortunately have to interface with another human being to maneuver it into place.
