The term "A fool and his money are soon parted" comes to mind...
Is the hand blown crystal really going to make it sound any better? Or is it just for aesthetics?
I'm all for stuff looking awesome but come on!
Crystal Arabesque Speakers

SixMoons came across some CES 2008 video of Crystal Cables talking about their new Arabesque loudspeakers. The enclosures are made completely from hand blown Czech Republic crystal. The walls appear to be at least 1/2" thick and there are no straight lines as you can see from the cross section pictures above. While I'm sure they will look cool as hell, I'm a bit skeptical since the gentleman in the video was also pushing their new set of $7,150 (for a 1 meter pair) interconnects.
More info should be available on these soon and we'll keep you posted.

Very true, but at the same time this is probably one of the few speakers that I could not reproduce in my garage. I'm curious to see what the price will be. I think they will be at least $50k, but not quite $100k. So my guess is $75k per pair.

Now that is true, I don't remember seeing "Hand Blown Crystal 101" down at the local annex. And I can see them being sold as an art piece, after all they are Czech crystal.
I too would like to see the price and have a listen to see if they would be worth the price tag that they would ask.
