Scandyna is now shipping their new pair of iPod docks that come with built-in amplifiers. The Dock and V Dock have internal 15 watts per channel Class-T amplifiers for a direct hookup to your speakers.

The V Dock includes video outputs, but TWICE notes that it lacks Apple's authentication chip making it unfriendly with the latest iPods. The Scandyna Dock is available for $219 and the V Dock is $249.

I like that. I'm sick of all these newest and brightest ipod docks that people keep on flogging that only differ in appearance. Refreshing to see a dock that has additional value like the amplifier.
