MartinLogan has announced their new CLX and CLX 25th Anniversary electrostatic loudspeakers. The CLX and CLX 25th are 70" tall and retail for $19,995 and $24,995 per pair, respectively.

Wow, I really like the red one's. And as per typical ML's you need an amp able to drive the suckers (check out the impedance at 20k Hz), but I guess that's not really a problem if you have the money to pick up a pair of these.

A lot of us have been waiting a loooong time for the CLX, but somewhat surprised by it's style and specs. Time will tell if it sounds/lives up to it's expectations.

Wow I wonder where I can find a pair to hear. ML usually builds a pretty top notch piece of equipment.

wow the asymmetrical design is very interesting. I'm curious about the reason for the baffle that extends backwards... it reminds me of a dipole "U" baffle, but its only on one side
