Pioneer HTS-LX70 Elite Home Theater System

Pioneer has released their new HTS-LX70 Flat Panel 5.1 channel Theater System (HTIB). The HTS-LX70 has built-in Dolby True HD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS-96/24, DTS-ES Decoders and thirteen surround modes. The system also includes a touchscreen remote for control of the receiver and its Pioneer MCACC Auto Calibration capabilities.



The Pioneer Elite HTS-LX70 is currently available with an MSRP of $1,800.

This MCACC technology is pretty interesting. "reverberation measurements and standing wave compensations,Advanced MCACC provides more precise three-dimensional automatic soundfield calibration"

Pretty neat speakers for a home theater in the box system.

I'd love to see them put that technology in their headunits.
