Polk R50 Sale at Frys is Back

Fry's has the Polk R50 floorstanding speakers on sale again for $60. This sale only happens every so often, but when it does they go quick. It is a pretty good deal, and people have had success using them as fronts and surrounds.

Shipping isn't cheap though, expect to pay about $40-$50 per pair.

I thought about ordering four and making some 72" tall mains just for the hell of it. Wouldn't be that hard to attach them together and for $320 shipped, they would kill anything in their price range.

Kind of reminds me of the $10,000 Diablos...

This is probably a dumb question but are these speakers digital? At that price they'd have to be analogue.

buy these speakers individually. shipping for one speaker was ~$14. shipping for a pair of speakers was ~$42. the total weight for a pair pushes the price way up on the shipping.
