Hide Those Unsightly Audio / Video Wires
Filed under: Home Audio > Installation Supplies
Bluelounge has opened up the pre-order for their new CableBox that is designed to assist in hiding the rat's nest of wires that is so common with audio and video devices. The Cable Box is $29.95 and you'll need to provide your own surge protector.
The Belkin Conceal Surge Protector is a similar unit that has been out for a couple years and is worth looking at before you plop down the cash for the Bluelounge CableBox.

The Belkin Conceal Surge Protector is similar in that it hides the wires, but it comes with a built-in surge protector that has a multitude of outlets (11 total) and in my mind is a better deal for a small amount more, $49.99 versus $29.95. The Belkin unit (Part # BZ111200-06) has been out for a couple years now and seems to have garnered quite a few positive reviews.
I don't think you can go wrong with either device if you are looking to clean up your wiring, and the deciding factor will simply be whether you want to use your own surge protector or a provided unit.

I might actually get me two or three of those Belkins, have too many places with too many wires... :)

Just saw them on Amazon for $33 and a mini version for about half that. For that price I'll probably grab one as well.
