Sony BRAVIA Integrated TV Stand RHT-G500

Sony has released the new RHT-G500 TV stand/integrated sound system, which slots below the existing G900 and G1500 models for those with sets ranging from 32" to 40". The RHT-G500 features built-in left, center, and right speakers, and a subwoofer. Sony's "S-Force PRO" technology provides faux surround effects.

In addition to support for conventional analog and digital sources, the RHT-G500 has three HDMI inputs and one output, which allows it to playback the audio sent over HDMI while sending the video on to a high-def TV. The RHT-G500 also accommodates a variety of portable players as well as music streaming over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi via the Digital Media Port and its various adapters. No word yet on pricing and availability.
