Undigitize Your CDs for just $50 each!

August 21, 2008 by David Kay

There's certainly no shortage of "tweaks" out there to improve the sound of your CDs, things like automatic black marker writers, green paper to line CD trays, demagnetizers, etc. The latest company to try to sell you an improved CD is called Undigitize. What does the "undigitize process" entail? Who knows!

The company will only tell you what they don't do, which is use reverb and EQ, or CD copying and "disc treatments." They take your original CD and $50, and send back a black CD-R with "something" done to it. What a bargain! Should it be worrying that the ratio of legalese to product information is about 10,000:1? Probably.

hahahaha!

I'll do the same thing for just 45$ bucks, just gimme a PM and i'll steal your CD and give you a copy back!

I'll copy anyones CDs to black CD-Rs for 44 bucks a piece, and sprinkle audiophile grade albino pixie dust on them.

great my use of symbols triggered some code in my last two posts. Now my attempt at a clever response is totally destroyed. So be it. ^_^

Someone order one, and do a bitwise comparison on what is returned to what was sent.

I will contribute no money to this experiment.

Clearly their IDE cables on their CD drives use "audiophile, high purity" copper.

Man, what will people think of next?! My favorite audiophile tweek / upgrade was the company that plays clicks and pops through a phone next to your gear to improve the sound. That ranks slightly above the tiny rocks on RCA cables. ;)

Or we totally missed something. Maybe it is revolutionary. I'm half tempted to try it out for the greater good of this site. But then again, I hear the owner of this site is a real arse, so I'm disinclined to proceed.

Nick, don't make me call up the guys at CA&E to do another shitty review of your subs. ;)
