Revel has expanded its entry level Concerta line of speakers with four new models built for on-wall placement. Designed with the aid of proprietary 36-point anechoic measurements and thoroughly tested in Revel's Multichannel Listening Lab, the new models are said to deliver flat frequency response across an exceptionally wide listening area.

The new Concertas consist of two surround speakers-the M8 ($250/ea) and M10 ($500/ea), a 3-channel sound bar called the LCR 8 ($750/ea), and the C10 center channel ($500/ea). All drivers in the new Concerta models feature micro ceramic composite (MCC) diaphragms, created by anodizing both sides of an aluminum core. Revel claims the new material adds strength and stiffness with virtually no additional weight. Additional features include waveguides for superior off-axis response, and high-order crossover networks for wider dynamic range and lower distortion.
