Two years ago, Onkyo released the industry's first home theater in a box system to receive THX's Integrated System certification. Onkyo's new HT-S9100THX system takes things to the next level, adding support for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, Faroudja DCDi Edge processing with 1080i upscaling for SD sources, four 1080p compatible HDMI 1.3a inputs, Audyssey 2EQ automatic room calibration, and Audyssey Dynamic EQ automatic loudness control.

The HT-S9100THX is a fully featured 7.1 channel home theater system. The package includes a 12" subwoofer powered by a 290 watt amplifier, three matching L/C/R speakers with dual 5" woofers and 1" soft dome tweeters, and four surround speakers each with one 5" woofer and 1" soft dome tweeters. The HT-S9100THX system is priced at $1,100.
