New Deltec Precision Audio Preamp and Monoblocks

England's Deltec Precision Audio has released a new compact line stage preamp and matching monoblock amplifiers. The preamp, called the DPA-CA1, uses the shortest possible signal paths to have a minimal sonic signature. It has six line level inputs and two sets of monitor loop inputs/outputs. Two sets of outputs allow for bi-amping.

The DPA-MA1 monoblocks are based on a Current Coupled Class A design, which Deltec claims produces a warmer, more natural sound with significantly lower distortion. Power is rated at 60 watts into 8 Ohms and 120 watts into 4 Ohms. The DPA-CA1 preamp and DPA-MA1 monoblocks feature hand painted and lacquered billet aluminum front panels for a mirror finish, and are priced at £2,300 ($3,420) and £2,200/ea ($3270).
