Monitor Audio R-One-HD Soundbar

Joining Monitor Audio's Radius series is the company's first Soundbar, called R-One-HD. The R-One-HD is your basic L/C/R single cabinet design - no faux surround trickery is incorporated. The wall mountable enclosure is available in silver, piano black, or piano white lacquer finishes, and features Monitor's ARC (Anti-Resonance Composite) front baffle and dedicated braced compartments with individually specified crossovers for the left, center, and right sections.

The centre channel section houses twin 4" MMP II bass drivers and a 1" C-CAM gold dome tweeter, while the left and right channel sections each house a single 4" MMP II bass driver and 1" C-CAM gold dome tweeter. Frequency response is rated at 55Hz - 35KHz for the center section, and 85Hz - 35KHz for the L/R sections. Sensitivity is rated at 90dB (C) and 87dB (L/R), meaning a bit of level matching will be required by the receiver. The R-One-HD is priced at $800.
