Norway's Seas has released a new subwoofer as part of a new group of products that will launch this year under the "Design by Seas" moniker - meaning in-house design and outsourced production. The 10" Seas L26ROY Design subwoofer is designed to combine high maximum excursion, low distortion, and wide frequency range. To balance these competing factors, the L26ROY utilizes a magnet system with a copper cap over the pole piece to reduce non-linear distortion and flux modulation.

Additional features include an aluminum cone with a proprietary natural rubber surround, a low inductance 2-layer voice coil, and an injection molded metal basket. The Seas L26ROY Design subwoofer has a 4 Ohm nominal impedance, and a recommended frequency range of 20Hz - 1kHz. Power handling is rated at 250 watts RMS, 500 watts peak.
