Tannoy Definition Speakers

Tannoy has released a new line of speakers called Definition, which focuses on high-end two channel audio. The Definition range consists of the DC8 monitor and the DC8T and DC10T floorstanders. All models feature braced birch plywood curved rear-ported cabinets, and Tannoy's signature Dual Concentric drivers (8" in the DC8 and DC8T, 10" in the DC10T) with "WideBand" tweeter technology.

The DC8 monitor uses a 1" Titanium dome tweeter with Tannoy's Tulip WaveGuide and an 8" treated paper pulp woofer. Frequency response is rated at 42Hz - 35kHz, with 88dB/W/m sensitivity. The DC8T uses the same 8" Dual Concentric array as the DC8, augmented by an additional 8" treated paper pulp woofer for bass response down to 33Hz. Sensitivity is rated at 89dB/W/m. The top of the range DC10T uses a Dual Concentric array with a 10" treated paper pulp cone woofer, and a second 10" bass driver. Frequency response is rated 30Hz - 35kHz, with 92dB/W/m sensitivity. All models are available in high gloss black, cherry, or dark walnut finishes.
