Onkyo Releases High-end 3D Receivers

Onkyo has followed up on the release of their entry to mid-level 3D equiped 2010 receivers with three new models which fill out the rest of the line: the TX-NR1008, TX-NR808, and TX-NR708. Each of the top line "08" models feature THX Select2 Plus certification, multi-zone support, network audio streaming, an iPod compatible front panel USB input, and of course, full HDMI 1.4a capabilities.

All three models support streaming MP3, WMA, WMA Lossless, FLAC, WAV, Ogg Vorbis, AAC, and LPCM files via their rear panel Ethernet ports, and each can also connect to a variety of internet radio stations including Pandora. Also onboard is Dolby Pro-Logic IIz and Audyssey DSX processing. The TX-NR808 and TX-NR708 are 7.2-channel models, while the TX-NR1008 can power a full 9.2-channels. The TX-NR708, TX-NR808, and TX-NR1008 will be available in July, priced at $899, $1099, and $1399 respectively.
