We plan to review a variety of relatively affordable components. Reviews will be focused on how a component performs and how it stacks up against the competition of a similar class. Lab measurements are unlikely.
I don't make a decision to purchase an amplifier based on its slew rate and its channel separation. That's not to say those figures aren't important, but they won't be the focus of our reviews. We're more interested in how it sounds.
Finally, I thought I made this clear earlier, but I will repeat it here. We will not allow Audio Junkies to be used as an attack vessel against a particular cable company and its owner. Once the new system is in place, you WILL be banned at the first offense.
Audio Junkies Is Improving!

In the coming days, we will be launching a major overhaul to the site. The changes aren't going to be just cosmetic - we're going to be adding new features and several improvements. We will be reviewing products in-house, and we plan to significantly revamp the user review system. You can also expect to see buyer's guides, system improvement tips, technical articles, and more.
We'd also like your input on features you would like to see or areas you would like us to cover. Are you interested in learning more about computer audio? Music servers? Wireless streaming? Home theater? What would you like to see on the site? Please leave a comment and let us know.

It's a good idea to focus a little more on value in these troubled economic times!
More of a concentration on computer audio may also be a good idea.

Computer audio is definitely going to be a big focus in the future, as it's become a passion of mine. Expect to see some articles comparing different media players like Foobar, JRiver, MediaMonkey, etc, articles on USB and conversion to S/Pdif, and a lot more in that area as that's what I'm spending most of my time on these days.

Pretend for a second that you owned Audiojunkies.com. What are the things that you would do to improve it? What things would you think that members and visitors would like to see from the staff here?
Over the coming months, we will launch many exciting new things that will give members a reason to visit and visitors a reason to join.
Stay tuned!

Pretends..........they want to see objective TESTS not some silly subjective, "Oh the power cord gave me blacker backgrounds and a tighter sound stage" bullshit? How's that for starters, hey if all you're going to do is subjective "tests" then you might as well close this website down. Those are a dime a dozen and worth even less.

You have an interesting perspective and your feedback is raw and uncut. You seem to feel strongly that reviews are in many cases flawed. So that I may better understand you, show me an example of a review done correctly.

scroll down to the "Benchmark DAC1 HDR" review and take notes on what's necessary and whats not. For that matter just read the whole website and the tests done on there. THAT'S what we need here. Mr Aczel has not posted anything new since late last year but then he's getting on in age , 83 now so probably is retiring soon.

You would be well advised to read the above link before creating yet another subjective "review" website

and this one also.
