Nakamichi's New Car Audio Products

Nakamichi has just recently released their new car audio amplifiers and speakers. We are still awaiting pricing information as well as when the new products will be available. We will post the updated information as soon as we receive it.


SPS2-650 Component Set

The SPS2-650 Component Set uses a "Unique suspension rubber surround woofer" as well as a 1" silk tweeter. The component set is rated at 70 watts continuous with a frequency range of 55Hz - 20kHz. Price is expected to be around $600.


SPW-1210 Subwoofer

The SPW-1210 is a 12" dual 2-ohm subwoofer. The continuous power rating is 600 watts and the SPW-1210 sports a non-pressed paper cone and cast aluminum basket with a proprietary tall foam surround. The driver weighs just under 29 pounds.


Amplifiers

Nakamichi has added three new amplifiers to their line-up. The PA-1500 is a Class-D mono amplifer capable of 1200 watts into a 1-ohm load. The PA-2100 and PA-4100 are 2 and 4-channel amps respectively that output 100 watts per channel into 4-ohm loads and can handle of 2-ohm loads.



Full-Range Speakers



There are two sets of new full-range speakers. Both sets consists of a 5.25", a 6.5" and a 6"x9" speaker. The top-set is the budget line, and the bottom set is the high-end line that is supposedly "Manufactured from only the highest-grade parts and materials."
