Zu Updates its Definition Series

American loudspeaker purists, Zu, have updated their flagship Definition series with the Definition Mark II. The Mk2 is packed with the same two 10" full-range drivers, .75" super-tweeter and four 10" subwoofers as the Definition Pro. However, the Mk2 has a new Tuckernut/Poplar/Maple cabinet finished with a gel-coat/polyester epoxy shell. The Mk2 also separates its two pairs of subwoofers into different sized enclosures for better bass tuning. In addition, the Mk2 includes a quieter amplifier that can be completely bypassed for external amplification. The Definition Mark II is available now for a price tag of $11,000 per pair.
