Bowers & Wilkins has teamed up with Jaguar on yet another project, the XF sedan. Jaguar and B&W were designing the sound system for the new XF before the car was even even on the drawing board. They set a goal early on for the XF, "to deliver the best ever audio experience in an automobile."

With a total of fourteen speakers (four tweeters, nine woofer/midbass drivers and a single subwoofer), the XF utilizes Pro Logic II 7.1-channel surround sound as well as active DSP (digital signal processing) techniques. The DSP is used to adjust the sound system for the automotive enviroment because of the constantly changing speed and road conditions that can affect the in-car sound.

- Four metal dome tweeters
- Nine Kevlar woofers/midbass drivers
- Rear-mounted high-power subwoofer
- Active DSP (digital signal processing)
- 440 watts of power
- 7.1 Dolby Pro Logic II

The Jaguar XF is expected to make its public debut at dealerships in the Spring/Summer of 2008.
