Convergence Gone Awry
The SE2 Labs ITC One is an amalgamation of home theater components crammed into one ugly ass box. However, the "One" features just about any A/V component you could want, including: an Xbox 360 with HD-DVD drive, iPod dock, HD DVR, AMX automation, cable and satellite TV tuners, surround-sound receiver, preamp, amp, video processor, power conditioner, cooling system and even more.
In addition, all these components are supposedly the best money can buy. So what's the price of having all this stuff in one package, just a paltry $20,000. But what I want to know is who would buy such a thing? I would hope anyone spending twenty grand on an A/V system would want to pick their own components, or at least have it professionally designed. But what do I know, maybe there are more rich dumbasses out there than I think.
