Rocky Mountain Audiofest 2007 in Denver is turning out to be quite the show. Room after room, my mouth drops as some of the most impressive audio setups I have ever heard have me picking a new favorite every few hours.

Click below to see all of the pictures.

AV123 was kicking ass with their $2,200 5.1 HT setup. Their new x-static open baffle towers sounded excellent with music and blew my mind when combined with the whole 5.1 package. Considering the shitty hotel room acoustics that they were dealt, these guys had one hell of a setup.

I'm a huge fan of Wilson loudspeakers, and this room didn't disappoint.

The Jumping Cactus Loudspeakers really took me by surprise, I enjoyed listening to these very much. By the way, those enclosures are solid aluminum with wooden front baffles.

These Dodd Audio amps were just insane. If I remember correctly, each one weighed 275 pounds.

Another one of my favorite rooms. The B&W Anniversary Signature Diamond speakers were top notch. Only 500 pairs of these will be made worldwide. The finish on the enclosures is just something you have to see in person, true works of art.

Check out the new $180,000 MBL speakers that will be released at CES...

We are going back to the Parts Express booth tomorrow to get some hands on time with the new Dayton WT3 Woofer Tester.

Whose line source speakers were with the Dodd amplifiers? Were those the ones AV123 are working on?

You're right, they are the new AV123 LS6's. The new AV123 LS9's are in the Red Rock Audio room further down.
