Elemental Designs has been busy for a while coming out with amplifiers, powered subwoofers and finished speakers at pretty affordable prices. Their affordability and solid performance for the dollar (like the A7-900 subwoofer) has really caught some attention in the online community. Now they’re considering producing a two band parametric EQ for those who like to add a bit more performance to their subwoofer.

Expected to be priced around $100 shipped and available around Christmas, the EQ.2 is poised to be a very popular item in the home audio world. The two bands allow for frequency response correction from 10 Hz – 100 Hz with a variable subsonic filter ranging from 5 Hz – 30 Hz. This beauty is a perfect add-on for any subwoofer system and can roll down right to DC if the subsonic filter is turned off.

Features:
- Subsonic Filter - Variable On/Off 5-30Hz Selection
- Band 1 EQ Range - 10-50Hz, Octave bandwidth .3-3, Level of -15 to +15dB
- Band 2 EQ Range - 50-100Hz, Octave bandwidth .3-3, Level of -15 to +15dB
- Auto On Feature
- LFE Mono or Stereo RCA Level inputs.
- 2 Outputs (If using multiple subwoofers)
- Phase Control ( 0-180)
- Attenuator Level Control (Not Line Boost)
