JL Audio Products Now Available Through the Crutchfield Online Store
Filed under: Car Audio
We all knew it was going to happen sometime soon ever since JL notified its dealers that they were picking up Crutchfield as an authorized online retailer. Well, we just got an email from Crutchfield that was sent out to all of their customers today stating that the JL Audio products are now available to purchase at the online store.
More info after the jump.
One of the initial questions was if Crutchfield would be carrying the W7 subwoofers, they are. From our understanding the JL Home Audio line (Gotham and Fathom subwoofers) will continue to be sold through brick and mortar dealers only, and will not be available through Crutchfield anytime soon. Click the source link below for the complete JL Audio product line on Crutchfield.
And for those of you who may have missed it, check out our JL Audio Facility Tour pictures.

Well I'll be. I sure hope their sales "advisors" get some in-depth training on JL's gear. It would have been nice to save some shipping/tax on the $11,000 Gotham but I guess that isn't going to happen anytime soon, if ever. I hope JL's quality isn't watered down by the surge in demand this will cause.

I don't think their quality will be affected at all since JL was quite accustomed to the high demand from the Tweeter stores before they started disappearing.

Considering the fate of Tweeter, I'd venture to say Crutchfield can and will move more product. They are already listed as out of stock in the 10W7s.
Eh, for the longest time people were/are getting their JL fix via Flea-bay so I'm sure that won't change from what I see Crutchfield charging (regular price for JL).
Does anyone have any experience using a JL13W7 in a home theater enviornment? (Fathom-ish)

not in a HT enviroment, but in a high end car install it sounded amazing. and i can only imagine it would only sound better in a HT setup.
The gotham is amazing, unbelievably good, but very hard to come by as from what i hear they are all sold out and producing them to fill orders right now.
