Roth Audio ALFiE Trades Smarts for Looks

Like the Denon Smart S-52, the ALFiE from Roth Audio is a very advanced table radio/iPod dock/CD player. While it lacks the advanced wireless networking features and advanced DSP/EQ of the Denon, it makes up for it with stunning looks and touch sensitive controls. The ALFiE also has more muscle, packing a full 40 watts to drive the two 2.5” full-range drivers and 4” down firing subwoofer. The ALFiE has one more trick up its sleeve – DVD playback with composite, S-video, and component outputs. VCD and SVCD are also supported, for the two people outside of Asia who might care about VCD's.
