Electrocompaniet ECC-1 CD Player

Norway’s Electrocompaniet makes some of the sexiest hi-fi components in the world, and their new ECC-1 CD player definitely doesn’t disappoint in that regard. The ECC-1 is the entry level disc player in their “Classic” range, and features a 24bit/192kHz Cirrus Logic DAC, a fully balanced Class A analog output stage, balanced, single-ended, and S/PDIF digital outputs, an anti-vibration system based on their much more expensive EMC1 UP transport, and a stunning gloss black front panel with gold hardware.

The ECC-1 is currently available in the US and Canada from World Hi-Fi Group with an MSRP of $3,600.
