Lexicon Releases its RV-5 A/V Receiver

The RV-5 is Lexicon’s new mid-tier receiver that combines many of the features of its flagship MC-12 HD at a more attractive price point. The RV-5 features a 7-channel amplifier and two audio zones which are processed via Lexicon’s new Logic 7 audio processing technology. In addition, the RV-5 employs a Faroudja video chipset and two HDMI ports capable of upscaling video to 720p/1080i. The RV-5 also includes an auto EQ that adjusts frequency response that can be stored in three different profiles for varying audio sources. The RV-5 features iPod support, RS-232 control, RF remote support, and even a USB port for streaming audio from a PC. Lexicon’s RV-5 is shipping now with an MSRP of $3,999.
