German Physiks Mark IV Omni-Directional Loudspeakers

High end audio manufacturer, German Physiks, has announced an update to its exceptional Borderland 2 way omni-directional loudspeakers with the Borderland Mark IV. The German Physiks brand utilizes a proprietary omni-radiating point source driver that allows for absolutely uniform frequency and phase response from any listening angle.

The new Mark IV loudspeakers employ a 12” woofer that kicks in below 270 Hz, and includes a Helmholtz resonator for full-range performance. The Mark IV also comes with either titanium foil or carbon fiber drivers that can deliver sound up to 21.5 KHz and 24.5 KHz, respectively. Unfortunately, if you want speakers that can deliver a uniform response in any situation, it’s going to cost you a pretty penny; in this case, the Mark IV will set you back at least $39,595 per pair.
