New Hybrid Audio Legatia “Pro Series” Tweeter
Filed under: Car Audio > Speakers
Hybrid Audio is apparently hard at work developing a new Legatia L1 “Pro Series” tweeter. Not much is known about it yet, but it certainly has big shoes to fill, as existing Legatia L1 tweeters have been used in vehicles that have won a total of fifteen national and world championships in four different countries since their initial release about a year and a half ago. The new Legatia tweeter is expected to make an appearance at CES in January.

I'm not sure what all of the changes will be, but I do know that Fs will be pushed down considerably to make this a more viable option in 2 way component sets, whereas their current tweeter is more aptly used with a wideband midrange capable of performance up to 4-6 kHz and a larger dedicated mid (like their 641, 831, etc. component sets).
