The latest range of speakers from marble masters Mark & Daniel Audio Labs is the rather oddly named “Muse-a” series. The new range consists of a single pair of floorstanders, the Muse-Ia ($5,500/pr), and a center channel, the Muse-Center-a ($1,500). The Muse-Ia is a two-way bipolar design, utilizing two 6.5” SX woofers with +/- 10mm of linear excursion and response down to 36Hz, and two DM-4 “Dreams” tweeters crossed over at a very low 900Hz with response to 25kHz mounted front and rear. The enclosures are handmade Compound Marble, and are available in black or white.

The Muse-Center-a is a more conventional direct radiator. It uses two 5.5” SX woofers with +/- 7.5mm of linear excursion and response down to 45Hz, and a DM-1 “Dreams” tweeter crossed at an even lower 800Hz with response to 22kHz, mounted in a horizontal M-T-M array. The Muse-Center-a features the same Compound Marble enclosure and finishes as the floorstanders, and adjustable stainless steel spikes to couple the speaker to its stand and aim it at the listening position.
