Aston Martin Teams Up With Bang & Olufsen

Aston Martin and Bang & Olufsen have announced a "creative and strategic partnership" that is set on revolutionizing luxury automobiles. The press release states that designers, engineers and specialists from both companies will be working closely together in the future.

At the very least I would expect to see B&O audio systems make their way into Aston Martin automobiles in the near future. It will definitely be interesting to see what comes from this as both companies make some pretty impressive products already.

The Audi/B&O systems have been very well received, supposedly they're even better than Lexus/Mark Levinson and Volvo/Dynaudio. When it comes to home audio though, I'd much rather have Levinson source equipment and amplifiers driving Dynaudio speakers than B&O stuff.

I don't know what a Levinson Dynaudio combo sounds like, but I do have a B&O stereo in my home and it is by far the best sounding I have heard. That said, who will ever be able to afford the Aston Martin B&O combo?

If you can afford the Aston, you can afford the B&O sound system option.

That is an amazing looking car.

I would totally drive that car. And to think, I might not even change the sound in it?

pauly, trust me, you've got to hear Evidence Temptations driven by a No 32 preamp and No 33H monoblocks. The big Beolabs are pretty good, but compared to that...

And which model is that? Car that is...

Oh I see. It's the V-12 Vanquish. No longer on the cars list on the site. Yep, I need that car. Lukas can buy me one, right?

Nope, not the Vanquish. It is actually a street version of their DB9R racecar. They have been talking about making it for years now, but I don't know if they ever will.

I assure you if they do make it though, it will probably cost more than most of our houses. :P
