High end car audio manufacturer, Hybrid Audio, has recently announced a new, more affordable line of component speakers dubbed the Clarus Series. The Clarus Series is modeled after the company’s flagship Legatia line, which last year alone won more International Auto Sound Challenge Association (IASCA) World Championships than all other front-stage speaker manufacturers combined. The Clarus line will include the 51-2 and 56-2 component systems, which are composed of tweeters and 5.25” or 6.5” drivers, respectively.

Both systems will also feature passive crossovers made with high quality, low tolerance parts; and a few different options for tweeter mounting, including the ability to swivel the tweeter within its mounting base. Hybrid’s Clarus component systems are scheduled to hit in mid-January, immediately after its formal CES introduction.
