I'm a sucker for sexy speakers, and Waterfall Audio out of France isn't one to disappoint in that aspect. Waterfall Audio will be debuting their new glass loudspeakers at CES this year. On display will be their two flagship models for the US market, the Victoria EVO and Iguasçu EVO (both named after waterfalls of course).

The Victoria EVO is at three-way/four-driver design and includes Waterfall’s proprietary, down firing, 8.5" passive woofer. The Iguasçu EVO employs identical drivers (including the passive woofer) in a two-way/three-driver arrangement

The 40" tall solid glass enclosures feature Atohm drivers and "stretched" wiring to retain their clean look. Waterfall Audio states that they are using an "Acoustic Damping Tube" for, "near-total damping of mid- and low-frequency 'back-wave' artifacts, and precise damping control of midrange reflections, allowing the speakers to produce superbly accurate, high-end performance within their effectively undamped glass enclosures."

Availability: February / March 2008
Suggested Retail U.S. Prices:
Victoria Evo: $5,400/pair
Iguasçu Evo: $3,900/pair
