Vivid Audio's New G1 Giya
Filed under: Home Audio > Speakers
Vivid Audio has released the details on their new G1 Giya loudspeakers. The G1 Giya is designed by Laurence Dickie, who was also behind one of the sexiest speakers of all time, the B&W Nautilus.
At nearly six feet tall and weighing in at 154 pounds each, the Giya's are much larger than they appear to be in the pictures above. Each enclosure has dual side-mounted 12" drivers, and as with the B&W Nautilus, the Giya's use a conical enclosure design to prevent standing waves. Frequency range is 23Hz to 44kHz with 91dB of sensitivity, and a power rating of 800 watts.
