KEF Embraces the KUBE

December 30, 2007 by Lukas Gilkey

In a sign that KEF is starting to embrace a bit of Linn-style spelling disease, they’ve decided to call their new entry level subwoofer the KUBE-1. The new KUBE replaces their old PSW1000.2. The high-gloss black enclosure is a perfect 11.5” cube. It houses an 8” woofer and an 8” passive radiator, or “Auxiliary Bass Radiator (ABR)” in KEF-speak, and a 150 watt Class D amplifier. KEF claims the sub produces “tunefully, defined bass with a tight response.”
